Dude, you're a little behind on this stuff. I've been watching shows and movies online for nearly a year now.

Here are some of my favorite sites:

http://www.ovguide.com/ - Online Video Guide, good site to find the best video sites
http://joox.net/ - Joox, great Divx movie site
http://episodenetwork.com/ - Episode Network, haven't used it lately, but me and my roommate would use this site to watch movies that were currently in theaters during the school year.

If you're interested, I can give you some tips to watch online videos on your TV if you are using a laptop (or a computer positioned nearby a TV).

How? Do I need a TV tuner chip for my TV? Cause I wanted one when I got my new computer, but I got ripped-off.

365_days_gone- 08-12-2007

wow. As if...joox.net, just starts playing 1408. I tried playing that movie on the site I listed in my previous post, and it took forever to load. You don't even have to download anything except Divx player to see these? Do these movies get installed while you watch them?

The Enforcer- 08-13-2007

For Joox, just download Divx video player. The movie, like all the other stream sites, are only stored on the browser while it's open. Once you close it, it's pretty much gone. If you watch movies online frequently, you should clear cookies, cache and temporary files to keep things running at a good rate.

If your TV has a S-Video hookup, and your PC has S-Video as well, all you need is to buy an S-Video cable which costs less than $10. It's going to look as good as it does on your computer, so don't expect miracles, it just makes it bigger (assuming your PC screen is smaller than your TV). You'll also need RCA Left/Right Audio cables. Basically it's an RCA cable without the video output. Make sure the cable has one input jack to go to your soundcard.

would the s-video cable be on the moniter or PC?

The Enforcer- 08-15-2007

It could be on both, if it's a flat screen, I imagine their could be a svideo input there, but I don't really know. On the PC, it should be located where your video card is. It's a black circle that looks similar to a mouse hookup.

But theres no s-video hole anyways. Shouldn't all computers have one?

The Enforcer- 08-16-2007

No, as far as I know all laptops have them, but it's not really a standard feature on PCs yet. You can replace the video card with one that has S-Video if you wanted to.

I sometimes see movies on freevidbox.com... but, eh, piracy.
