John Mccain is the only nominee who would lose to Hillary because the liberal media has access to his past record which is shadier than most common criminals.
The Worst: You might have seen in South Carolina that the South Carolina Veterans were campaigning against Mccain, strange for a so called "hero" of the vietnam war.
While some of this is controversial it seems well documented by interviews with other Hanoi veterans, the testomony of some Vietnamese and Mccain's own confessions, that He:
1. Is not the war hero he painted himself out to be
2. The injuries he suffered there were not from his time in Hanoi but rather beatings by his captors immediately after he crash landed.
3. He actually recieved special treatment as the son of an Admiral while in Hanoi
4. He and John Kerry fought off mia/pow activists tooth and nail to stop their investigations and drop the embargo against vietnam.
5. He is suspected of collaborating with the Vietnamese
Most of this information has surfaced before and is common knowledge to the media. When he ran against Bush eight years ago he successfully painted this information as small insignificant, smear tactics by the Bush campaign.
However, against Hillary most certainly the liberal media would bring every bit of it to light. And as I previously mentioned he does not have the support of Vietnam Vets because of this.
Here are some links you can find by googling "Mccain collaborator":
Why do I bring this up?
I have a hard copy of the US veterans article, which was recently passed on to me. I will try to scan it and post it online.
Lastly, let us not forget the corruption of the "Keating 5" where Mccain and four democrats were involved in a scandal where they took kickbacks to keep fed. regulators off of massive banking scandal.
We know Mccain is practically a democrat anyway, so his collaboration with four democrats in this matter is not at all a suprise.
But how, with such a scandal on his record he might attempt to prove his character worthy of the presidency is another matter.
While I am a full supporter of voicing your opinion, I would just like to say a couple of things that I think will help people when they make a post such as this that appears to have some research involved.
1) Wikipedia, while amazing, is a horrible source to site if you're trying to support your statement.
2) Youtube, while amazing, is a horrible source to site if you're trying to support your statement.
3) It is always good to find unbiased (non-partisan in the case of politics), peer reviewed sources to support a claim like this.
3.5) Websites, while not peer reviewed, can be good sources if they are unbiased.
4) If you can't find unbiased, peer reviewed sources, and you are citing something from some random guy who did his own research on the topic, check and see if the guy has a PhD or something. Most experts hold a PhD in the field in which they are an expert.

Ok well here's your source folks. To answer question number one. I posted this on three forums the same number of web communities that I am a quazi-member/poster of.
I realize by now this is practically cliche, Rush Limbaugh is bashing on Mccain, and so Ann Coulter practically everday here: http://www.anncoulter.com/
However, the Veterans info is pretty dirty so I thought I'd post it. It's not what we want in our Presidential Candidate. Mccain has more skeletons in his closet than that army of the dead in LoTR. If he does get the nomination it could be worse than what the dems suffered in the Mcgovern/Eagleton fiasco in '72.

Most of these statements will be disconnected but that's all right.
John McCain is a smart guy who has many practical ideas for the U.S. if he is elected president.
Free Republic is a conservative internet forum. It contains a completely biased group of individuals who post opinions (mostly backed by little or no research).
Even without the support of the South Carolina veterans, he won the South Carolina primary. It may have ruined him in 2000, but this time he did it.
Everyone has a past. I do, you do, everyone does. So why would we choose not to elect someone because of their past? Because of the media today, anyone can pull stuff about anyone's past just by Googling it. I'm sure people could find stuff about Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, and even Hillary Clinton. Right now I'm a liberal hippie college kid who drinks, swears, openly agrees with gay marriages and even supported Bill Clinton. In 12 years if i decided to run for president (which I wouldn't, because they don't get paid enough to deal with the crap they have to deal with) I would not want someone to hold my past against me.
I'm not attacking you; I guess I just don't understand the point you are making. If you could tell me in your words, that would be awesome.

Like Mitt Romney is a racist and a vulture. Mike Huckabee is... umm... funny, but also a scary fundy and Hillary has probably killed someone... and ate them....
some of those were more true than others...
and the point is something on the order of
SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM
