Ron Paul on World of Warcraft Like I always say, give me a liberal or a libertarian, but give me a candidate with character.
The dark horse candidate has the voting record. He has voted against raising taxes everytime, and against and unbalanced budget every time. He was also one of the brave few who voted against the Iraqi war.
For our future and reputation worldwide I am for this candidate. What do you guys think of him?
Can his popularity on youtube really translate to votes?
He has even made his way onto world of warcraft:

SANTA ANA, Calif. - — Ron Paul supporters are using forums and a website to organize a New Year's Day march in the World of Warcraft computer game in support of the Republican presidential hopeful.
The march is to take place in Azeroth, a kingdom in the mythical world of the online game made by Blizzard Entertainment in Irvine, Calif. More than 9 million players pay a subscription fee to play the multiplayer game.
The rally will be led from Ironforge to Stormwind by a group of players (a "guild") named "RP Revolution." Organizers used an online discussion board at ronpaulforums.com Wednesday to spread the message.

Yes! I have donated to Ron Paul and will caucus for him. I am really excited about him.

I am disappointed Fox News has decided not to include him in the debate. They no longer have my support and in my opinion have clearly rendered themselves into discriminatory position that invalidates them as a reliable news source.
I support Ron Paul because I believe he is the only candidate with enough character and guts to address the issues that are country is facing right now including:
1. The unpopular war that even most democrats such as Hillary and Jon Edwards voted for.
2. Economic crisis: Irresponsible banking policies (Housing market crisis anyone?), continued devaluation and distrust of the dollar worldwide, and inflation, out of control spending, and social security.
3. Education, the no child got ahead shows that we really need take control of it at the local level and not allow government policy to wreck the lives of kids who are now being forced to memorize and regurgitate, since they are only being taught for the standardized tests.
I am by the way from the old froams, I recognize the name TruthDivides. Name is Shane. :-) Curly haired kid that met up w/ some froamers at cornerstone.

I'm almost entirely sure that's not the same truthdivides (the one you're thinking of is not here and goes by thesurgeofblood these days). I think.
On topic:
I can't actually see this helping Ron Paul. He needs mainstream attention not more oversaturation on the internet.
truthdivides- 01-04-2008
Yeah, I'm a different guy. sorry.
It's insane of Fox to exclude him since he got 10% in Iowa. Pretty much a 3rd place tie with McCain and Thompson.
Muad'Dib- 01-04-2008
It's completely sane of Fox.
They don't want him elected, and excluding him is a good way to help that. Totally sane and rational.
truthdivides- 01-04-2008
That's right, I have to remember they changed their slogan from "We report, you decide" to "We decide, you follow".
The Enforcer- 01-05-2008
All news networks display a bias and place a spin on the news. Fox is geared to the right wing. Ron Paul is running as a Republican, but his views on the war alienate him from the majority of Republican. Since Ron Paul is more of a moderate than a right or left wing guy, he isn't going to get the coverage on the major networks. Unfortunately, Iowa is the beginning of the end for Ron Paul. He rules the internet, but has yet to make a dent in he real world.
Muad'Dib- 01-05-2008
He finished almost dead even with McCain and Thompson and murdered the mayor. If it's the end for anyone it's Rudy, but let's just wait until my state (New Hampshire) holds a real vote before we decide who's in or out. Iowa means very little.
And calling Ron Paul a moderate is a joke.
truthdivides- 01-06-2008
yeah, Ron Paul is no moderate, he is a real conservative, not a neo-con. I agree with waiting for New Hampshire. The state is very wide open since 50% of voters are independents.
Conspiracy_Theory- 01-07-2008
He is definitely the most conservative, though it just so happens that he now lines up with opinion that might be considerated moderate because we know he will do what so blatently bloody obviously needs done: Resolution in Iraq, stopping the lying, spying, and torturing, cutting government spending and taxes, and balancing the budget.
He will however be on Jay Leno tonight so be sure to check it out. ;-)
Muad'Dib- 01-07-2008
gahhh... you guys need some practice in political theory
Muad'Dib- 01-08-2008
aaaaannnd....
Now he's finished.
