It's upsetting to me that Hillary is doing so well, but I think what is really going to hurt her on Tuesday is the fact that she really appeals mostly to older voters. But on the same token, so does McCain. I think candidates like Obama, Huckabee, and Paul appeal most to the younger group of voters.
I'm going to be the freak sitting at home on Tuesday watching the coverage on ABC.

I wish I could sit home and watch everything take place. But I have to be at the high school.
I guess the fact that I will see Ron Paul speak tomorrow night makes up for that. I'm not gonna be able to shut up about him on Tuesday. :)
Hillary has some really scary ideas. I read today that she said she would take away people's wages for working if they didn't buy health care from the government to help everyone get health care. I know that would likely never get passed, but it scares me that somebody with those ideas is even getting considered for the presidency.

Well be sure to tell us all about what you hear from Ron Paul. I'm interested.
McCain v. Clinton is the only way the Republicans have half a chance. I've been saying this a while.

It won't be a Republican.
I mean, you're absolutely right...McCain could beat Hillary.
But historically, there has never been an election where America voted for the party in office when there was a war going (does that make sense?). It has never happened. If it did happen, it would be something massive.
But I'm going to say Obama will be the next president.
That's just my opinion though. Neither of them have a clear lead as of yesterday (Obama/Clinton).

Ron Paul spoke a lot about foreign, economic, monetary and monetary policy, as well as civil liberties. My favorite thing he said all night was that what is happening this election cycle with people realizing what is really happening, it is only the beginning.
Last night at my caucus I was elected as a delegate to go to the county convention! yess! It was really interesting to me how freely run a caucus is. It really is run how the people attending it want it to be run. Unfortunetly I live in a pretty mormon neighborhood so us Paul supporters were overrun by Romney supporters. Paul did very well overall in my county, though.

That's awesome.
Ron Paul is a very practical man, by the way. I've heard him speak a few times and he's really smart.
Oh and Hillary is in the lead as far as delegates go.
There's still time!
Muad'Dib- 02-07-2008
Hillary's lead is weak and meaningless. It will be crushed!

True story.
Anyway, two things.
1) This website is super slow suddenly and it pisses me off a little bit.
2) Mitt Romney is OUT.
truthdivides- 02-07-2008
If McCain can get Romney's delegates he pretty much can wrap up the nomination. :(

Yeah, the Republican race is over heh.
