What Are You Playing?
Today, what game are you playing? How are you doing in the game? Give us the details on how your gaming hours are being spent.

Currently playing: Final Fantasy XII. Good game, although completely different from what I was expecting. My party is currently wandering through a desert to some old king's grave, and we just killed a giant turtle that was making life miserable for some other monsters. I'm having a hard time following the storyline, but am enjoying running around and killing everything inmy path :)

Demon walls, demon walls, demon walls! There is no escaping the demon walls! How I hate the demon walls that chase my party up and down the hallways and crush the party!

Guitar Hero II. I'm spending just about every free minute on that game.

truthless86- 11-10-2006

I'm surprised that Guitar Hero II is already out, considering how recently Guitar Hero I was out.

I'm still hacking away at Final Fantasy XII, having just passed the 21 hour mark, and trying to find a way around some magic jungle barrier. Evil Fran!

Breath of Fire II. I am currently entering one of the final dungeons leading down the the Dragon Clan's city beneath the earth.

In addition to Final Fantasy XII, which I am still unsure if I really like it or not, I have gone back to a classic game on the PC, SimCity 3000. Ever-expanding city that it is, I have just crossed the 900,000 population mark. Got a lot further to go, but it made for a pretty good weekend at any rate.

Halo 2 for the last 2 years :-D... and LANing Halo 1 any chance I get

truthless86- 12-20-2006

Maybe a little late in starting this, but I recently started playing Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction on the PS2. Seems to be a pretty fun game so far. 5 Factions (Allied Nations, S. Korea, N. Korea, Russian Mafia, and China) all vying for power in N. Korea. Help them or harm them as you choose, and they will respond accordingly. Destroy anything you can find, but beware: civilian casualties & destruction of non-military buildings will cost you lots of money. But the monetary cost seems well worth it when you hijack a tank and blow up some large building in downtown Pyongyang :)

anyone in the SF Bay Area that enjoys LANing Halo 1? I'm getting together with some people at church next Friday for some good old H1

I want to start playing FFIII for the SNES again. I got about half way through it but then I stopped for some reason. I would restart if I am going to play again.

I just finished MGS3. I beat it in 15 hours, I think my ranking was alligator, but I cant be sure.

I started a franchise in MLB07: The Show with the best team ever, the Toronto Blue Jays.

Dustin McGowan FTW!

I'm currently playing through that game (in the form of FFVI advance for GBA though) - definitely one of the best RPG's of all time. I'm currently at the "open" section prior to taking on the Floating Continent and triggering the World of Ruin.

Otherwise, I've been playing the classic "X-COM: UFO Defense" via MS-DOS emulation (a little program called Dosbox), currently about 6 months into the game.

I've also been playing a lot of DotA Allstars, a mod for Warcraft III.

Roller Coaster Tycoon 1, 2, and 3. PURE PWNAGE.

I haven't been playing much recently because I don't have anything new, but the last games I played are Need For Speed Underground, SSX 3, and Lord of the Rings. I also love Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil Zero, and Tetris.
